In this brand new series, we have obtained video footage of Charles himself demonstrating proper riding techniques.  In this presentation, Charles starts out demonstrating how to gather up the reins and keep soft contact with the horse's mouth.  He then proceeds to describe how the seat and legs connect to the horse to achieve a soft, swinging, and articulating back while riding at the walk, trot, and canter.
